Operation Azores

Every Second Sunday in July

New Beginnings Church has embraced Dede’s vision by creating Operation Azores, as our ongoing outreach missionary program. Our goal is to do a yearly celebration for the children of the hometown where Dede grew up. We envision games, food, jumpy's, toy giveaways, etc. We believe this yearly celebration, will allow us to love on and excite the children, and at the same time provide them with an opportunity to get to know Christ and His love for them. Through ministering love, fun, and testimonies. No child will be turned away from this experience.

Operation Azores is a two-part missions outreach. First of all, it will take New Beginnings Church and others, like you, willing to give donations to fund the cost and the supplies needed. Second, is with our partnerships that we have created with the local people in the Azores. Dede has been working with her sweet cousin Carla Medeiros. She is the youth coordinator for the Grupo de Jovens Coracao de Maria, a local Catholic church.

As you can see through your donations and the donations of others that have embraced Dede’s vision, New Beginnings has gathered and shipped many of the supplies needed. However, more is still needed in order to make this year’s Operation Azores a success and to be able to continue it as an annual event.
